Principal Product Manager, Tutor Engagement

Overview

Nerdy is on a mission to transform the way people learn through technology, and as the Principal Product Manager of Tutor Engagement, you will be at the forefront of this mission. In this high-impact role, you will own the end-to-end tutor experience once they are on our platform – effectively treating it as your own business. You’ll define the vision and strategy to drive tutor success that includes building product experience, communications strategy, effective tooling and ensuring right support when needed. You’ll be ensuring that our tutors are empowered to deliver excellent learning experiences to students.

We operate with a startup pace and mentality. That means you thrive in an environment of ambiguity, rapid experimentation, and continuous iteration – comfortably failing forward and learning quickly to find what works. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (Design, Data Science, Engineering, Operations) and engage with senior leaders to innovate and iterate on tutor-focused products and programs. This is a mission-driven, energizing opportunity to combine technology, data, and empathy to delight our tutors and help shape the future of online education.
